The Cambridge Indiepop All-dayer will be taking place on 12 November 2022. We're now in our seventh year of putting on this full day of DIY fun with previous events featuring The Spook School, Peaness, Dream Nails, Jetstream Pony and more.
This event has sold out every year so far, so we strongly advise getting advance tickets!
Joining us this year are:
adults (London)
adults are a noisy pop band from South London who write epic scrappy DIY bangers in the vein of Los Camps and Johnny Foreigner. They’ve recently signed to the wonderful Fika Recordings and will be releasing their full-length debut in the Autumn. We’re so excited that they’ve agreed to join the line up!
Breakup Haircut (London)
London-based Breakup Haircut write DIY punk pop classics about running off to Berlin, Marie Kondo and more! Their debut album, Punk Dancing for Self Defence, is scheduled for release in July by the wonderful Reckless Yes label. We’re looking forward to their first Cambridge show!
Fuzzy Lights (Cambridge)
After an eight-year hiatus, Cambridge super group Fuzzy Lights (comprising members of Model Village, Red Red Eyes, Violet Woods, Rachel Watkins) returned with a fantastic new album last year and we’re delighted to be bringing their noisy brooding folk pop to the Alldayer stage!
Gold Baby (London)
North London outfit Gold Baby serve an own-brand concoction of confessional indie-pop. Last year’s Rabbits EP showcased Sian Alex’s incredible songwriting skills and we can’t wait to hear the songs live at the Blue Moon!
Kerry Devine (Cambs)
Beautiful folky pop with crystalline vocals from the frontwoman of the much-loved Cambridge band, the Baby Seals. Following the release of her critically acclaimed debut in 2018, Kerry's currently working on new music and we can't wait to hear it!
Jen Schande (London)
We’re huge fans of Schande and loved their incredible, noisy, full-band set at our 2017 Alldayer! We’re delighted that Jen is coming back this year with a stripped-down acoustic performance for you all!
Lande Hekt (Bristol)
Lande Hekt released her solo debut, Going to Hell, in 2021. More indiepop-infused than her work with Muncie Girls, it’s a gorgeous and personal record that was one of our favourites of the year. Her latest single, Romantic, came out on Boyracer’s Emotional Response label last month and it already feels like a DIY pop classic!
Mammoth Penguins (Cambs)
Fresh from their headline set at the rescheduled Winter Sprinter, we’re delighted to add local indiepop heroes Mammoth Penguins to the bill. Since their first album, Hide and Seek, was released on the much-missed Fortuna Pop in 2015, they’ve forged a reputation for powerpop hooks, candid lyrics and a fantastic live show!
Soot Sprite (Exeter)
Soot Sprite are a three-piece shoegaze/indie outfit from Exeter. Their latest record ‘Poltergeists’ was released on our absolute faves, Specialist Subject Records, and was featured on NME, BBC 6 Music, Clash magazine and Brooklyn Vegan.
We’re applying for a late licence to keep you dancing until 1.30am with a Sweet Revenge DIY pop disco!
Venue and accessibility information
The venue is accessible from the street without any steps and once you’re inside, everything is on the same level (room where the bands will play, pub, toilets). A small area in the pub part of the venue is accessed by a step. The gig room is wheelchair accessible but unfortunately the toilets are not - there are no accessible toilets (i.e. toilets with grab bars or an alarm). Please speak to The Blue Moon to discuss any specific accessibility queries you may have.
The Blue Moon is only a 20 minute walk from Cambridge train station. We intend to finish the live music early enough for people to catch the last train to Royston and Kings Cross (although it's your responsibility to keep an eye on the time!).
