On Saturday February 25th Des Was a Bowie Fan returns to Edinburgh's old town for a night of indiepop, new wave, post-punk, 60s Pop and Northern Soul dancing. 10.30pm till 3am at the Wee Red Bar, part of the Edinburgh College of Art.

The Shangri-Las to The Smiths, Brigitte Bardot to Belle and Sebastian, Dusty Springfield to Depeche Mode, Tom Jones to Talking Heads, The Four Tops to The Fall, Elvis Presley to The Pixies, Sam Cooke to Suede, Jimmy Ruffin to David Bowie, with a smattering of Edinburgh post-punk legends, all in the mixer in the bar's signature crimson shade.

Come get drunk.

*Find The Wee Red Bar in the Lauriston Architecture Building at 74 Lauriston Place in the old town. Entry is via an entrance on Lady Lawson Street, inside the grounds of the College of Art. Students and non-students welcome.

Also, for buying drinks etc., please note that the Wee Red Bar is a cashless bar (only cards taken).

Des Was a Bowie Fan is a clubnight founded in 2013 at the Tutu's nightclub on the Strand in central London. It has since played out residencies at London east end venues Jamboree, The George Tavern, Paper Dress Vintage and Walthamstow Trades Hall, Edinburgh's Henry's Cellar Bar and Cardiff's Big Top, creating timeless dancefloors for lovers and dreamers of all ages.
