Event information
Charlotte Hatherley initially came to prominence as guitarist and backing vocalist for the band Ash. Since departing Ash in 2006, she has found success as a solo artist, is also touring as a guitarist with Bat for Lashes and as a bassist for Client. She was also hand-picked by her personal hero, Bryan Ferry, to play with his touring band.
New album ‘New Worlds’ was created with her long-time collaborator Rob Ellis (the drummer, producer and arranger best-known for his work with PJ Harvey since 1990), the two randomly playing together in a studio in Wales before recording the songs completely live in a single week in London, produced by Luke Smith (ex-Clor, Depeche Mode) and mixed by Alan Moulder (mixer for the Arctic Monkeys and Smashing Pumpkins).
