Over 14's Only, Please Bring I.D. for Alcohol
ROAR
Zebrahead are returning to Europe to play a series of super-charged gigs for their European friends. The band will play a cross-section of all their albums, but also throw in some new tunes.
'Rather than sitting alone in a rehearsal room drinking beer and being bored, we thought we'd head to Europe and invite our fans and friends to join us in bigger rooms where we can all drink beer, have a great time together and be at one with the final phase of the creative process of the new album,' says vocalist Ali Tabatabaee, 'We're really excited to be working out the new album ideas during these upcoming shows with some of our most loyal fans!'
With their reputation as one of the scene's most energetic and entertaining bands around, Zebrahead have been around since 1996. The band were nominated for a Grammy in 2000 for a version cover of Metallica's Enter Sandman recorded with Motorhead's Lemmy.
'We have the best hardcore fans in Europe, they know we like to party, and I think what's happening is that our fans bring their friends' and those friends bring their friends... and so each show turns into a party'!'
Fans should be a part of the upcoming release, so at every show, Zebrahead will set up a suggestion box by the merchandise stand where fans can scribble down thoughts and ideas about what they might want from the new Zebrahead album.
'We'll check the box after every show and see what our party co-collaborators have to contribute,' says rhythm guitar/vocalist Matty Lewis 'and this is why we need everyone to get out to see us, have yet another great time' and if anyone occasionally wants to throw some panties at us while we play, that's cool too. Panties are better than shoes - please friends, remember that!'
Zebrahead will once more prove that they love playing for all their fans, entertaining with fun, pure joy and youthful punk charm. Enjoy the shows!
