Mad Agnes at Birdsedge Live

Mad Agnes - not one person but three. A trio of Americans (2 women, 1 man) from New England who sing in close harmony (so close it's almost indecent) and play not only piano, but an array of many different guitars. They write insightful, witty, off-the-wall songs, often beautiful and bizarre at the same time. But don't take our word for it. If you go to their web page at www.madagnes.com you can see a 9 minute preview of what you might expect from a Mad Agnes concert. It's no accident that their UK debut in 2007 was the main stage at Fairport's Cropredy Convention.

Artisan's reunion tour starts in July 2010 and they'll be 'getting back on the horse' by doing a support spot for Mad Agnes.

The newly refurbished Birdsedge Village Hall now has the main entrance round the back of the building. Parking is in the school car park (entrance off Birdsedge Lane) or park on Birdsedge Lane itself (not on residents' parking bays on main road please). Disabled parking only in village hall rear car park (2 spaces).

Music Starts at 7.30 prompt with the main guest.

Food available on the night from burgers and chips to home baked cakes.
