JOSH T PEARSON (Denton, TX)
In 2001 Pearson's band LIFT TO EXPERIENCE brought out a classic album at the first attempt in the magnificent 'Texas-Jerusalem Crossroads'. Drenched in spookiness and feedback, that album pushed the concept of southern gothic forward a mile or two.
Since then, Pearson has committed nothing to release (apart from a few home recordings occasionally available at live shows), but his enigmatic appeal is still on the rise almost a decade later having been invited to play his unique take on country-blues at this year's All Tomorrow's Parties and End Of The Road festivals.

TENEBROUS LIAR
Dark and demented roots-flavoured avant rock.
'Tenebrous Liar make a stand for mavericks everywhere. The rotating members, centred around mouthpiece Steve Gullick, tailor their exquisite avant-garde Americana to suit the occasion, with a living music that fills every corner of the room' - NME
'Musically their second album Last Stand recalls Shellac, Liars and Nirvana at their most bloody-minded and amusical.' -
The Quietus

DUKE GARWOOD
South London avant blues-jazz-rock with new album 'The Sand That Falls' out now on Fire Records.
'Duke is one of the more intriguing characters lugging his six string out into the woods!' Wire Magazine
'explores crannies where unusual experimentation lies amid the dust of tradition' - NME
