This young supergroup were the winners of the inaugural
EBU/European Jazz Competition. They perform with
astonishing musical maturity, confidence and a cohesiveness
derived from many years of playing together.
Dedicated to maintaining the roots of traditional modern
jazz, Empirical have a definite finger on the pulse of the
contemporary world. They are the future of British Jazz.
