every FIRST FRIDAY each Month (except July and August)
one of THE great nights out downstairs, each month the room goes crazy to the dance grooves of the fantastic six-piece RnB/Soul, multi-tasking, RONNIE AND THE REX...Britain's favourite party band
The evening kicks off with the band easing the evening in as we take our seats. The first set includes the ever-popular challenge the band when you will have the opportunity to test the band's ability to play one song in the style of another...
The middle section presents two or more TOP COMICS from the international circuit. Then, if you're lucky, you may catch them guesting with the band in the third jumping-up-and-down set....the tables are pulled away and we dance into the early hours.
Past shows have seen Frank Skinner singing Elvis, Mark Lamarr singing Ska and Arnold Brown leading a free jazz session!
A great night out guaranteed, and ridiculously good value!

Important Notes:
· Bills may alter at late notice – check on www.downstairsatthekingshead.com for any last-minute changes.
· There is no reserved seating Downstairs. We can seat 100 and have 20 standing spaces. Your ticket guarantees entry, but if you want a good seat, please be with us by the advertised door opening time.
· Please bring evidence of booking (i.e; a print-out your confirmation email)
· You can book tickets up to 6pm on the day of the show. After then, any remaining tickets will be sold on a first-come first-served basis on the door at the advertised “doors open” time.
· Also please note that, as an intimate venue, we discourage large group bookings, so tickets are limited on this show to a MAXIMUM of 8 per person.
· We want everyone to enjoy the show. Please don’t talk during the performance and ensure your mobile phone is turned off. You will be required to leave without refund if your behaviour is disruptive
· Intoxicated persons will not be admitted.
