Rockfeedback presents...
The Green Man Tour
featuring:
CATE LE BON - Welsh chanteuse Cate Le Bon first released a Welsh language EP "Edrych yn Llygaid Ceffyl Benthyg" back in 2008, and her much-lauded debut full release (put out by longtime collaborator and Neon Neon band-mate Gruff Rhys) "My Oh My" provided a wonderful collection of equal measures of hauntingly beautiful folk and unpredicatable experimental psychedelia. Calling to mind a Welsh Nico full of dark stories of the valleys, there's also references to her the surrounding similar vein of her Welsh musical associates in Gorkys or Super Furry Animals. First and foremost, Cate's a strikingly unique and original musical talent.

“Startlingly original… ‘Me Oh My’ has that can’t-put-your-finger-on-it oddness that makes for great pop music… A singular talent” MOJO
LAWRENCE ARABIA - Lawrence Arabia is the musical guise of New Zealand artist James Milne. Before settling on his current moniker, Milne has previously been involved groups as varied asThe Brunettes, Okervill River, The Ruby Suns and Feist. He has also produced the score the excellent Kiwi indie film smash, Eagle Vs. Shark. 2010 sees him his debut release for Bella Union in the UK "Chant Darling". Full of honest and earnest personality and some fantastic songs to while away the days to, Milne's music is beautiful and breezy folk-tinged 60s-pop with a timeless and universal sensibility.

"Chant darling' is a modern pop masterpiece... like a mutant hybrid of jonathan richman, the beatles and beach boys... truly, resistance is futile"
