Sam Hanna Bell`s own adaptation of his famous novel, 'December Bride'.
That Woman At Rathard tells the story of what happens amongst a narrow, puritanical Co Down farming community, when a child is born out of wedlock, and the mother Sarah, a servant at the farm - refuses to divulge which of two brothers is the father.
Crisis strikes, and it seems to the locals that Sarah... that woman at Rathard... has brought a curse on the farm.
A powerful cast including Gordon Fulton, James Duran, Maria Connolly, Roma Tomelty, and Derek Lord (Best known as Sneddon in STV's Take the High Road), with Colin Carnegie directing present this powerful, emotional play.
