Sounds great doesn't it! Come and check them out...
NEON HIGHWIRE is three determined men from two countries with one goal: to make you dance like a grizzly bear on a Turkish hotplate. If it weren't for a series of happy coincidences involving stolen shoes, broken synthesisers and port, it may never have happened. A fusion of dirty electro and angular post-rock guitar soundscapes, their sound is strapped onto intricate structures with three part vocals that amplify and propel the songs to their irresistible climaxes. Formed in late 2008, Neon Highwire wander confused around the streets of London, forcing themselves upon the general public melodically and erotically with their musicianship; and their £5 haircuts. They've performed at 93 Feet East, The Old Blue Last and 333 amongst others, and are fast building a reputation for inhumanly energetic performances and an ability to get even the most hard line 'Standing Stillers' dancing their tits off. It's an electroplosion.
DOUBLE RAINBOW are a big stupid rock band with too many guitarists? A friend once said we sounded like Roxy Music meets Kraftwerk but played by the Boss. Which sounds cool but doesn't really describes what we actually sound like. You could say we live in Acton and Hackney, or Acktackeney as we like to call it, and that most of us are from Chester.
