SMUDGE (Sydney)
The original Australian trio of Tom Morgan, Adam Yee and Alison Galloway will be coming to Europe for the first time since the mid 90s to celebrate the bands 15th year anniversary.
Smudge were favourites of John Peel and released a series of killer singles through-out the 90s that won them many fans from the Lemonheads/Juliana Hatfield camp.
Fire Records will be re-issuing the bands classic 'Manilow' (originally released in 1995 on Domino Records) this month.
'Australia's Smudge created an impressive collection of songs with Manilow. Tom Morgan and company create consistently catchy pop tunes, assembling songs with simple pop hooks and clever lyrics.' 4/5 ALL MUSIC
