WET DOG (London)
Oh-oh: Wild guitar, inflamed bass, unstoppable drums, Wet Dog takes up the space with viral sound. The flash songs take just the time to kidnap you and to accelerate towards another No-era. Who? What? When? Why? it is like a intricate animal sound that sways between mature riffs and a passionate voice while the whole of it conglomerates into a stratified texture of sound details. Wet Dog, back home from their usa tour (some dates shared with Vivian Girls) they will be soon out with the LP 'Frauhaus!'

MOLLY NILSSON (Berlin)
www.myspace.com/formerlyknownaswhitebread
'I would never make a 'happy' song. It doesn't interest me. I want to make meaningful, and beautiful music... But on the other hand I can never let it get hopeless and sad, then I would only be crying over the keyboard... Having a sense of humour is necessary to survive, and this doesn't mean that you laugh about or at everything, it's far more philosophical than that. It's a way of twisting what you see, changing the perspective.'
The Swedish singer-songwriter and Pop Diva Molly Nilsson began performing on the Berlin underground music scene in 2007. Her personal storyteller style takes advantage of her atypical and a magnetic use of the voice, minimal harmonies exalt a deep and monotone touch that make palatable the rare alchemy of her executions. Over the last two years, this heiress of 80s pop has performed with her one - woman Show around Europe. Her debut limited edition CD These Things Take Time, released in 2008, was followed by the full-length album Europa, released June 2009.

NORMAL LOVE (Berlin)
www.myspace.com/normalloveberlin
Those with their ear close to the queer-progressive underground have undoubtedly heard more than their fair share of rumors about Berlin's 'Normal Love'. The new project of Pauline Boudry and Inka Dewitz (Rhythm King and her Friends) joined by Ben Kaan (Kat Frankie) focuses on the energy of live performance and the uncontrolled potential of NeoDisco. The Trio plays confrontational, deliberate, schizophrenic guitar riffs backed by a funky, short and to the point rhythm section. Lyrics and attitude of the band cover issues like: love, politics and bodyguards... Unfortunately, the bands full-length album won't hit the streets until the end of summer, so listen closely as Normal Love previews its Disco crescendo blitz at Mother.

IORI'S EYES (Milan)
www.myspace.com/ioriseyes
Hailing from Milan, where they formed in 2004 at high school, Iori's Eyes are a young duo in their early twenties. Authors of a delicate dream pop as well as fragile as much as refined they arrive straight to the heart with harmonies full of a sense of magic melancholy over electric whispers. Clod and Sofia, in company of Pillo, also manage to surprise with trotting rhythmic progressions punctuated with simple vocal melodies and a buzzing electronic underlying atmosphere. Their debut ep 'And Everything Fits in the Yellow Whale' was out in January 2010, with the new single and video 'The Boat'. Combining lo-fi attitude with multicolour pop, Iori's Eyes cite as their influences Blonde Redhead, Beach House, Laura Marling and My Bloody Valentine. Vibrating gaze in to space.

MARIA AND THE MIRRORS (London)
www.myspace.com/mariamirrors
From Novaya Zemlya with love... Siberian invocationary ('is that a word? I really think that ought to be a word. How do we make it a word? Do we have to go to Oxford or something?') drum attack, featuring tape sounds of all around town melded to real disco sound. Influences include Throbbing Gristle, Jerry Hall & Kenneth Anger, merging into sub-tropical horror show. Fascinating post apocalyptic scenario.
