Alex Cornish’s debut album ‘Until The Traffic Stops’ – written, played, sung and produced in his Edinburgh bedroom – has provoked the kind of tips and plays that any major-label release would beg for. 3 singles spending a total of 14 weeks on the Radio 2 playlist, sessions for Radio 2, 6 Music, XFM, BBC Radio Scotland, a song played over the end credits of a Hollywood film, “a gem” said The Telegraph, “hottest download of the week” said The Sunday Times. Alex spent the end of last year on tour with Alison Moyet and has just finished his second album, which is out this summer.
