‘FORTUNE MY FOE’, an entertainment revolving around the Gunpowder Plot.
The York Waits were formed more than 30 years ago, in order to explore the music and instruments of the middle ages and renaissance and do so by recreating the city band of York as it was during the fifteenth, sixteenth and early seventeenth centuries. Tim Healey, a broadcaster, performer, researcher and writer can frequently be heard on BBC radio, giving talks on a wide variety of topics, mainly musical.
