HAPPY BIRTHDAY - The Happy Birthday kids care about making good music, and are proof that you don't have to be born in California to have a knack for writing sunny pop songs and catchy punk hooks. Made up of Kyle Thomas (aka King Tuff), Chris Weisman, and Ruth Garbus, the band formed in November 2008 to play one show at the punk-space "Tinderbox"(RIP), in their hometown Brattleboro, Vermont and were signed to Sub Pop after only their fifth show. The band mash 60's harmonies, 70's attitude, 80's brashness and 90's angst into scuzzy little pop songs. The band are touring in support of their self-titled LP
