` Weald Choir of Crawley is a member of Making Music, an organisation that supports and champions voluntary music in the UK. Making Music helps over 2,700 amateur and semi-professional music organisations through a wide range of member services including low-cost public liability insurance, access to a dedicated development officer offering advice on marketing, fundraising and community outreach work, plus a simplified Performing Rights Society royalty scheme and many more. With everything from choirs, orchestras and festivals to samba groups, handbell ringers and world music ensembles, Making Music is here to make sure that all voluntary music groups flourish. Weald Choir, conductor Michael Emery, present A SPRING CONCERT including
Faure: Requiem; Vaughan Williams: Five Mystical Songs; Villette: Hymn a la Vierge. With Soprano: Laura Rowley and Baritone: Tim Baldwin. Concert starts at 7.30pm. Doors open 6.45pm.
Programme also includes organ solos played by organist: Ian le Grice.
Tickets: £10 adult, £8 senior citizen, £5 school age.
Free Parking is available in the school playground, off Collier Row, opposite the church
Guest singers are invited to join us for this concert.
