The Cornish Grill - Sun 01 April at Redhook
Sunday lunch is the best meal of the week and we're about to make it better. We've teamed up with Matt Chatfield from The Cornish Grill and invited some of London's best chefs to cook their favourite lunch for us on the last Sunday of every month.
On Sunday 01 April we welcome Tim Anderson, best known as the youngest ever winner of the hit BBC series MasterChef. Hailed as 'inventive' and 'incredible' by his MasterChef judges, we have no doubt there'll be some 'tim-foolery' up his sleeve for this April Fool's Day Lunch.
Well known for his colourful ideas and tapestry of tastes, Tim grew up on a balanced diet cheeseburgers, pizza and root beer. A move to Los Angeles (where he quickly became a connoisseur of regional Japanese noodles, American craft beer, and tacos sold out of trucks) was followed by a stint in Japan and then a new home in the UK. Along the way he has travelled to France, Mexico, Italy, Hong Kong, Thailand, Taiwan, Burma, and Denmark, accruing new and diverse culinary influences at every opportunity. He currently works as a mercenary chef, food writer, and sommelier of beer.
Tickets are £40 each for three courses, coffee and truffles plus a Grey Goose aperitif and as many visits as you like to the never ending Grey Goose Bloody Mary buffet.
You can book solo, in twos or groups and we'll find a good spot for you. We're seating people in tables of four and more so The Cornish Grill will be a little like a supper club, only at lunchtime and in a restaurant.
Come early for newspapers and Grey Goose cocktails to make the most of the day.
