A highlight of the free improvisation calendar, John Russell's Fete Quaqua offers three nights of musical collaborations between eleven musicians from around the world in a series of unique combinations.

There are many connections running through the fine group of musicians taking part in this year's event, but they have never played together as a whole or indeed in certain combinations, so it is possible to say honestly that you will never have heard anything like this before!

Musicians taking part are Chris Burn (piano, electronics, trumpets), Lawrence Casserley (electronics, sound processing), Nina de Heney (bass), Satoko Fukuda (violin), Hannah Marshall (cello), Adrian Northover (alto and soprano saxophones), Thomas Rohrer (rabeca), John Russell (guitar), Sabu Toyozumi (drums, percussion, erhu), Lisa Ullen (piano), Ute Wassermann (voice).
